Joshua Tree Campout

We started our trip on Friday 12-04-09 at 4:00pm. On the way their we got stuck in traffic and drove to the Pizza Factory. After some pizza we went back on the road and arrived at Joshua Tree at about 9:00pm. We pitched our tents and set up a fire. On Saturday night we made breakfast and went rock climbing. Their was many different routes and possibilities for a great expirience. After the rock climbing we had grilled cheese and chicken soup. We had free time and went scrambling on the rocks. Some people also played Would You Rather with some pretty interesting choses. For dinner we had beef stew and sat by the fire. After dinner their was dessert with pies and then went to bed. On Sunday we packed up and went to McDonalds and drove to Berylwood at about 12:00pm.

Deep Sea Fishing 11-8-09

We started out at Berylwood at 4:00am in the morning. We drove over to the dock and got their at about 5:00am. At 6:00am we got on the fishing boat and set off on a 2-3 hours tug out to the islands. On the way their, dolphins swam in front of the ship and were there for about 30 minutes. Once we got to the fishing site we started  fishing and we caught a lot of macreal. When the fishing didn't go to good we went to a new fishing spot. The fishing wasn't to good overall but it was fun. On the way back to port the dolphins swam in front of the ship again. We got home at about 7:00pm.

Geocaching Outing 10-25-09

We started off at Berylwood at 12:00pm. We then went to the canyon. We then started to find many geocaches and every scout found at least one. The geocaches were hidden well and could be hidden in trees, behind logs, in poison oak, and in bushes. We used GPS and clues to find the geocaches. We rode are bikes about 9 miles that day and it was fun. After all the bike riding we came back to the cars and had IBC root beer. We then went back to Berylwood.
